Come join the Young Democrats @ VCU and the Virginia Coalition for
Women's Health this Wedensday, September 14, 2011, at 11:30am on the
Monroe Park campus' Compass Plaza as we stand up and "speak out" against
additional regulation of women's healthcare, or "TRAP": Targeted
Regulation of Abortion Providers."
This series of regulations,
which forces unnecessary regulation on health clinics and healthcare
providers across the Commonwealth, goes before the Virginia Board of
Health on Thursday, Sept. 15, and we want to let them know how we feel!
This bill not only affects women seeking safe, affordable abortion
procedures, but will also hamper the efforts of general health clinics
and organizations such as Planned Parenthood.
